Diagnosis

Female frons with a wide white cross-band medially, male frons dark and metallic; vertex yellowish-brown in front of, inside and behind ocellar triangle, dark and metallic laterad to ocellar triangle in both sexes; female scape enlarged; mesosoma dark and bright metallic, coxae white. Similar to fasciata but with anterior part of gaster white and with first flagellomere as long as wide.
